• Lag is a problem running against an online server (don't know if that's a proton issue) so I run a local server which runs well, but keeping a local server updated and maintained is a fair bit of work. I wrote some custom bash scripts to make this maintenance easier for myself but that took many hours. I run 3440x1440 and can reach 30+ fps in Proton on "high" settings. When I start the game the right half of the screen displays colorbars and a "static" video panel. Maybe something is supposed to be playing there? I don't know what this is supposed to look like on Windows but I suspect what I'm seeing is a bug. I can switch out of the game using the "windows" key but sometimes there are glitches. If I get impatient during loading and switch focus to another window, it won't capture the mouse and keyboard properly and I'll have to completely exit and restart the game to fix it. Rarely, switching focus to another window will have problems coming back in, also requiring a restart. If I leave the game running and the screensaver comes on, it will crash. The sandbox server is is rock-solid running under wine!
