  • Proton version offers more resolution options than native or Steam Linux Runtime In a previous report, I had an issue with running the native version which was later resolved after restarting Steam. With that in mind, if you play at 1080p, the native port is fine. If you go above or use an ultrawide, more resolution options show up in Proton. Like in Windows, it helps to add the commands fps_max "999" and fps_override "1" to an autoexec.cfg to get better performance with or without vsync.
